"I'm Deniece. I completed O’Level and I hold a certificate in caregiving. I also have additional IE certificates. What makes me a good, professional elderly carer is that I have real hands-on experience. I’ve worked in 2 hospitals so far — Cornerstone Health Center in Kitemu along Masaka Road, and Orange Medical Clinic. Through that, I’ve learned the practical side: medication reminders, mobility support, hygiene care, monitoring vital signs, and reporting changes fast. But beyond the skills, I see the person, not just the patient. I’m naturally calm and I listen. I notice small changes — if someone didn’t eat, seems confused, or looks unsteady — because those details save lives. I protect their dignity at all times. No rushing, no talking down. Families and supervisors can count on me to be on time, to document clearly, and to treat their loved one with real compassion and professionalism. I take this responsibility seriously because I’ve seen what good care does for someone’s quality of life
