Dear Families, My name is Clara, I am 26 years old, and I am originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I speak native Portuguese, advanced English, and basic German. I have over 10 years of childcare experience. I began looking after children when I was 12 years old by helping family members with their little ones. More recently, I spent the last three years in the United States working as an Au Pair, Nanny, and Babysitter. Alongside my full-time nanny positions, I regularly provided babysitting for local families, caring for children during date nights, weekends, and overnight stays. I decided to leave the United States to explore new countries and cultures, but I still keep in touch with my former host families and the children I cared for. We have a wonderful relationship, and they continue to be an important part of my life. I genuinely love working with children. I enjoy reading stories, listening to music, dancing, playing, encouraging creativity, supporting their communication and development, and creating a safe, happy environment where they can thrive. I have experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers (up to 14 years old). I hold both Brazilian and U.S. driver’s licences, I am a confident swimmer, a good cook, very organised, reliable, and I believe open communication is the foundation of a successful relationship with families.
