I am an Early Years professional with nearly four years of experience working in early years and school-aged childcare settings in Ireland, and I hold a Master’s Degree in Childhood Studies (QQI Level 9). I support children’s learning and development through inclusive, child-centred practice. I have experience planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, supporting daily routines, and promoting positive relationships within the room. I have a particular interest in supporting children early years, as this is a key stage for language development, emotional regulation and social interaction. My background in speech and language development strongly informs my work, particularly in supporting communication, emotional regulation and inclusion within the room. I work collaboratively with colleagues and families to ensure children feel safe, supported and engaged in their learning environment. I am highly motivated, reflective and committed to continuous professional development.
