Hi, my name is Lydia Connolly , I am 24 years old. I am a Master’s student in Occupational Therapy at the University of Limerick with a passion for working with children. Through my paediatric Occupational Therapy placement, I have gained experience supporting children with a wide range of needs and developmental abilities, helping them to learn, play and build confidence through meaningful activities. Alongside my placement experience, I currently babysit for two wonderful families and have cared for children from 3 to 8 years old, with previous experience caring for children from 2½ years upwards. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children, whether that’s playing games, doing arts and crafts, reading stories, helping with homework or creating fun activities that keep them engaged. I am fully Garda vetted, trained in First Aid and CPR, a non-smoker and non-vaper, and I hold a full clean driving licence with my own car. My goal is to provide a safe, caring and enjoyable environment where children feel happy, supported and valued, while giving parents complete peace of mind.
