About Job

I am Megan Goodwin, originally from Meath, and I trained as a nurse in Stirling, Scotland. I am 24 and currently based in Kinsale, County Cork, living with my boyfriend, and I am awaiting my NMBI registration. I have 5 sisters and 2 brothers. My nursing background has given me the knowledge, experience, and dedication needed to provide high-quality care, and I would be honoured to support elderly people with the respect and kindness they deserve. I would be a great fit for working with elderly people because, throughout my three years of nursing training, I have gained valuable experience caring for many older adults in a variety of healthcare settings. This has helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and a deeper understanding of the importance of dignity, respect, and person-centred care. I am a kind, compassionate, and empathetic person who genuinely enjoys supporting others and making a positive difference in their lives. I understand that elderly people may need not only physical care but also companionship, reassurance, and someone who takes the time to listen.
