Hello! My name is Maria Vitória, and I am a caring, reliable and dedicated professional based in Dublin. I have a degree in Pedagogy and hands-on experience caring for children from newborns to 6 years old in private family homes. Throughout my experience, I have supported families with feeding, bottle preparation, diaper changes, bathing, bedtime routines, educational play, meal preparation, and creating a safe, organised and loving environment where children can thrive. One of my most rewarding experiences was working closely with a family and helping care for their newborn. I assisted the mother with the baby's daily routine, including feeding, sterilising bottles, changing diapers, bathing, settling the baby to sleep, and keeping the nursery, clothes and personal belongings clean and organised. I understand how important consistency, patience and trust are during a child's first months of life. In addition to childcare, I also have informal experience caring for an elderly woman living with Alzheimer's disease. This experience taught me the importance of compassion, patience, responsibility and treating every person with dignity and respect. It also reinforced my ability to remain calm, attentive and supportive in different care situations. I genuinely enjoy caring for people and creating a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment.
